The Project Manager interacts with business line leaders, stakeholders and external and internal partners to scope, plan and implement projects on time and on budget.  The role provides application implementations and deployments of healthcare systems and/or data warehousing technology. Responsibilities will include cloud applications, data warehousing and data security. The Project Manager will engage and manage external resources required to deliver high profile/high risk projects which drive the organization forward, providing expertise in planning and communicating change, as well as mitigating risks, monitoring budget adherence, metrics and quality standards. 
  • Responsible for defining and determining role of project management in each project, including specific roles and responsibilities for each project participants
  • Partners with key stakeholders to define project scope and implement project plans in accordance with needs and objectives
  • Works with project owners to on-board and orient project team.  Clarify and communicate project objectives, including detailed understanding of deliverables and success criteria
  • Prepares communication plan and related project status reports.  Facilitates regular status meetings with project team, sponsors and key stakeholders to review activities and deliverables, as well as risks and mitigation strategies
  • Develops and manages project budgets and provide regular status updates
  • Defines and manages overall change control processes and quality assurance aspects of the project
Required Skills: 
  • 5+ years of technical project management experience
  • Strong in EPIC knowledge and this can be from a payer, provider or other relevant experience
  • Strong in data warehousing implementation and/or integration
  • Skill in applying project management techniques and have strong understanding of project management tools and approaches to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects
  • Excellent  time management and budgeting skills to efficiently manage multiple projects
  • Must have excellent leadership, team management and relationship building skills, strong problem-solving skills and ability to focus both strategically and tactically to achieve business goals
  • EPIC Clarity certification strongly preferred
  • PMP Certification preferred
