The Business Continuity Program Consultant works closely with business units and IT to develop business continuity plans that leverage industry best practices and standards. The consultant will also assist with enterprise-wide incident and IT disaster recovery planning to help ensure resiliency during disruptions.  Must have enthusiastic and focused personality who can adapt in a fast-paced environment. 

- Drive development and maintain corporate Business Continuity Program plans and provide framework planning to global business partners
- Perform business impact analysis, identify process and technology gaps, and facilitate prioritization of remediation 
- Recommend business continuity solutions and best practices
- Recommend business continuity and emergency management repository tools
- Develop business continuity testing, training, and exercise schedule
- Assist with projects for an enterprise-wide IT disaster recovery program
- Develop and maintain corporate crisis management plans and provide framework planning to business units for incident management planning
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where existing policies and procedures require change and where new ones need to be developed


- Experience in business continuity planning
- Experience writing plans, process narratives, and procedural documents
- Knowledge of the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) process used for identifying threats, risks, vulnerabilities, critical business processes, and technology infrastructure for the business continuity and IT disaster recovery planning processes
- Experience managing business continuity projects
- Experience with business continuity repository tools associated with business impact assessments, risk management, situational awareness, and emergency notification systems
- CBCP:  Certified Business Continuity Planner
- CBCP, PMP or other relevant certifications
